WEB DESIGN PORTFOLIO
This page is dedicated to showcase all of my web design work over the past few years.
1. Asian American Association at UTK
AAA was without a functional website for such a long time, so when I joined AAA in fall 2008, I gave them a simple, yet coherent, design. I used basic HTML and CSS and a little bit of Photoshop glamour. The first example there is the inital site I made. The second is the special edition of the site I made for the 2009 Asian Cultural Awareness Night.

2. Phoenix Literary Magazine
UT's Literary Arts Magazine. Funny story. I applied to join the Phoenix staff back in Fall 2008, and when the editors found out I did web design, they wanted me to work on a new site. Because, in fact, the Phoenix site they were curretly using was in fact, the FIRST site ever made and had not been updated since 1992. So, after slaving over 2 months learning PHP, I introduced not only a new site, but also an archive of past Phoenix work.
.....And here's the twist! One night, I was working on the site, and through the old site's source code, I discovered that the original Phoenix site (which was created over TEN years ago) was actualy made by my BROTHER KHAI NGUYEN back when he was on the Daily Beacon staff. He never told me!
3. [T.T. LINDA NGUYEN] aka THIS SITE!

For this site, I really wanted to come up with something simple, but also a little cute. I began with basic HTML, added a little javascript, CSS, and also toyed with div layers. The buttons come from this image above, which I took on campus. Naturally, I maniuplated the contrast to edit some of the space in the original. It took me quite a while to complete, because I wanted to do it right, but I'm quite happy with the results. :)
