about the blog

I have been a blogger all my life. Even in middle school (though I doubt Xanga still has it on its server), I blogged about my life. Before blogging, I had a daily journal. Maybe  I should say I have always been a journalist. Though my fanbase probably only consists of my older sister (hi, sis!) who lives in California and a few people who googled a typo, I keep blogging because it’s a part of me. Plus, it keeps me sane.

In 2007-2008, I chronicle my first year at UTK as a freshman. And this was the beginning of FroshLife. Now, freshman year is long gone and my FroshLife is over.

Because I wasn’t exactly done blogging for my CollegeLife experience yet, I decided to create another blog, College [spaz], also hosted on Wordpress. Through this sophomore blog, I wanted to continue talking about how university had changed me. I have always been a funny awkward kind of person, so “spaz” kind of stuck with me.

Then, this last summer, something else changed. I began to outgrow my space on Wordpress. My friend David Nguyen (no relation) started up his own  computer repair business, so he offered me a place on his own domain. And here we are now.

College life is definitely a transition for me. It’s like what they say; it’s about exploring your interests and finding yourself. I started this blog because I hoped someone out there, probably a young college student like myself, could relate to my experiences. Someone out there who has a caring crazy family, who works really hard to stay in school and who enjoys funny stories.

So thanks for reading! :)
