Back at UT.

Hello, Fall 2009, how are you? Here I am sitting in DO 416 (which looks surprisingly like the same room I took JEM 200 last fall…well, because it is) blogging away just like old times. Well, except I didn’t really dare blog in that class for fear of my professor (who shall not be named) lunging at me over the aisles.

Regardless, lemme tell you a little about my semester. So far, I have experienced:

1. A monsoon

2. Briefly followed by a gust of awful humidity and blazing sunshine

3. A crazy teacher (in a good way)

4. A crazy teacher (in a bad way)

I’m sure there will be more to follow before the week is up.

Ugh for some reason, I am just in a cranky mood. I have to trek from Bailey Education up BEHIND the hill to Dougherty and then back down the Hill and up another one to Communication within 15 minute intervals of each other. It totally bites. :( (((

No voice

This morning, I called in sick for the first time ever. Really. I’ve worked at PI for over a year now and have yet to call in, but today I did because I have…laryngitis.

Laryngitis is so inconvenient and frustrating. It’s weird not having a voice, straining to get a few words out so someone has an idea of what you’re trying to say. The phone is the worst, because it’s harder to hear even the hoarse whispers. They take it as a silence and even your hard attempts are lost.

So I’m lying here on my couch debating what I should do. I’m supposed to relax and rest my voice, but I feel so…restless. I want to get up and go somewhere, do something, even an errand.

Lol, or I might go shopping with my Dad..who wants to buy a webcam haha.
